1. The Rewards Program (“Program”) of Metropolitan Bank & Trust Company (Metrobank) is open to Metrobank credit card products that participate in the Rewards Program, subject to Metrobank Credit Card Terms and Conditions.
   Customers may refer to the Credit Card Rewards Catalogue for the list of participating card products and applicable rewards features.
2. Rewards Points earned from the Program can be exchanged for rewards items specified in the relevant Rewards Catalogue, applied as payment for annual fees, converted to air miles, cash credits/rebates, eVouchers or donated to charity (“Participating Programs”).
3. By redeeming rewards under this Program, the Cardholder authorizes Metrobank to engage accredited third-party service providers and share necessary information solely for processing redemption requests, in accordance with the Data Privacy Act of 2012 and Metrobank’s Privacy Policy.
4. Metrobank reserves the right to amend the rules on accumulation and redemption of Rewards Points. Any changes will be communicated through the Statement of Account, email, SMS, website posting, or other channels that Metrobank may determine appropriate.

1. All Principal Credit Cardholders ("Cardholders") whose accounts are in good credit standing, (ie: current, not suspended and not cancelled), are eligible to participate in the Program.
2. Rewards Points earned through transactions of both the Principal and Supplementary Cardholders will be credited to the Principal Cardholder's account.
3. If a Cardholder's account is no longer in good credit standing (e.g., past due, suspended, or cancelled), Metrobank may limit the Cardholder's participation in the Program, including the forfeiture of Rewards Points, subject to notice where applicable.
4. Metrobank may review a Cardholder’s participation in the Program and, based on such review and in accordance with these Terms and Conditions, take appropriate action, including possible disqualification, in case of any activity that seeks to maximize, generate, or redeem rewards points in a manner inconsistent with the regular or intended use of the Card or the Program.

1. Rewards Points are awarded to Cardholders for eligible purchases of goods and services charged to their Metrobank credit card, in accordance with these Terms and Conditions.
2. Metrobank determines which transactions qualify for Rewards Points based on transaction type and applicable Program rules. Such determination shall be made in accordance with these Terms and Conditions, the Metrobank Credit Card Terms and Conditions, and the applicable Product Terms and Conditions, as may apply.
3. Cardholders earn one (1) Rewards Point for every PHP20.00 of eligible purchases charged to the Card. Rewards Points are computed on a per-transaction basis and rounded down to the nearest whole number, unless a different rewards earning mechanism is specified in the applicable Product Terms and Conditions.

   Sample computations:

4.  All purchase transactions are eligible in the accumulation of Rewards Points including the monthly amortization of retail and installment purchases, and Bills2Pay Auto-Charge Program*.

   *For Bills2Pay transactions, Rewards Points will be earned only up to a maximum transaction amount of PHP20,000 per utility per transaction.
5. The following transactions do not earn Rewards Points, including but not limited to:
   • Cash advances, Cash2Go, Balance Transfer, Conversion to Installment, and restructure payment programs (e.g. Easy Installment);
   • PayBills and PayNow transactions via Metrobank Online or the Metrobank App;
   • Casino, betting, gambling, and lottery-related transactions, including those classified under Casino, Betting, Gambling, and Lottery merchant categories;
   • Cryptocurrency transactions;
   • Remittance, cash transfer, and quasi-cash transactions, including e-wallet top-ups (e.g., Maya, GCash, GrabPay Wallet, and other e-wallet loading) classified under Quasi-Cash, POI Funding Transactions, Money Transfer and MoneySend Merchant Categories; and,
   • All fees and charges, including but not limited to annual fees, interest and finance charges, late payment fees, and other similar fees and charges associated with the credit card account, as determined by Metrobank.
6. Rewards Points shall be awarded only for valid, posted, and eligible transactions. If a transaction is cancelled for any reason, any Rewards Points earned from that transaction will also be reversed. Any corresponding adjustments will be reflected in a subsequent statement cycle.
7.  Subject to notice, Metrobank may correct any computation, posting, or award of Rewards Points that is later determined to be erroneous.
8. Rewards Points earned by the Cardholder shall be reflected in the monthly Statement of Account. Cardholders are encouraged to review their Statement of Account and notify Metrobank of any error, discrepancy, or question within thirty (30) calendar days from the Statement date.
   If no concern is raised within the specified period, the Rewards Points reflected in the statement will be considered accurate for that billing cycle, subject to any necessary adjustments by Metrobank due to erroneous crediting or other valid corrections.
9. In the event of an error in the processing of Rewards Points redemption where the e-Vouchers or Air Miles provided are not equivalent to the Rewards Points redeemed, Metrobank will take the necessary steps to correct the transaction as follows:
   • Shortage (e.g., incomplete e-Vouchers or Air Miles) – Metrobank will process the remaining balance to complete the redemption; or
   • Overage (e.g., duplicate e-Voucher or Air Miles) – Metrobank may adjust the excess by deducting the equivalent Rewards Points from the Cardholder’s account. If the available Rewards Points are insufficient, the equivalent cost of the rewards may be charged to the credit card account based on prevailing rates.
